  • Pestle and Motar/ Food processor


  • 1.5 tbsp Ground Plantain Seeds
  • 3 tbsp Water


  • Remove seeds from the stalks
  • Dry seeds in low oven or dehydrator for 10 minutes
  • Ground seeds using a pestle and motar/ food processor or coffee grinder until a fine powder (the finer the better)
  • Add a ratio of 2:1, hot water to ground plantain seeds
  • For 1 egg you need 3tbsp hot water to 1.5tbsp of ground plantain seeds
  • Mix and then wait for 2 hours for the mixture to turn into a gel
