Lockdown Tree Trails
I have created a few lockdown tree trails to help get kids outside during these weird restricted times. Please follow the link below to download your activity pack for free!
More areas of Bristol coming soon….
Trees of Bristol have an amazing mapping service in which many of the trees around Bristol have been identified and tagged. This service allowed me to create these trails, so a huge thank you goes out to them. If you are interested check it out here.
They have kindly mapped the Clifton tree trail (and others pending). If you would be interested in an online version of the map and a little more info on the trees check out the link below.
**Spoiler Alert – the tree’s info is already provided, if you want to keep it a surprise, check this out after you have completed the trail! *

My two kids and I loved your tree trail, thank you so much for doing this. It gave a great focus to our rainy afternoon walk and we’re going to do the second half of trees tomorrow .

Thanks so much for taking the time to message, I’m glad you and your kids enjoyed it! Good luck with the second half

Thank you for putting these together. So far we’ve managed about a third of the Clifton trail – snow and cold children put a premature halt to progress last weekend!
Is there a Google map link available so that the trails are available directly in Google maps?

Hi Chris
Yes the weather is definitely making it harder to get out! I have sent an email to you with access to the online trail. Please let me know if you don’t receive it.
Thanks

Just brilliant! We so enjoyed finding the most local trees and guessing what the word might be. Really great way to get the kids exploring, looking and learning :0)

My little boy and I had so much fun doing this trail last weekend – we learnt lots and enjoyed being taken to places we’d never think to venture – spooky graveyard visit especially! ๐
Thanks so much for putting your time and effort into this. If there is a charity that you support that we could make a wee donation too, as a thank you, please let me know.

Thanks I am glad you enjoyed it! If you would like to make a donation that would be so lovely. I think children’s mental health is so important at the moment so Young Mind’s charity would be amazing.
Thanks again ๐

We did the Southville one on bikes last weekend. I was really surprised at how many different trees there are: it made us look at familiar places in a new light. My boys really enjoyed it too (ages: 6 and 8)
Thank you for putting in so much effort… now to tackle Clifton and St W!
Eleanor.

Hi Milly,
We really enjoyed the St Werburgh’s & Montpeilier tree trail yesterday (Sunday 7 Feb); thank you so much for putting it up.
However, despite looking very hard, we couldn’t find the two cards in Mina Road Park – have they been moved perhaps?

Somebody necessarily lend a hand to make critically posts I would state. This is the very first time I frequented your website page and thus far? I surprised with the research you made to create this actual publish amazing. Great job! Lonnie Darrel Ki
